Anybody had bad sickness from takeing trimethoprim?

iam takeing trimethoprim ,i feel very sick ,tired and the pain has spread more then before i had it,i have only took it for two days is this common ,the leaflet says sickness dont know what to doAnybody had bad sickness from takeing trimethoprim?
You will need to go back and see your GP or as I did recently, go to casualty. The bacteria in the water infection can be immune to the trimethoprim as they prescribe it as a general antibiotic to the infection when they don't know the specific bacteria responsible for the infection in the first place. You may need different tablets.

I presume you are taking these for a urinary tract related purpose (the most common usgae of Trimethoprim). If so, please see your GP asap. It could be sensitivity to the tablets, but it could also be due to the infection.
In any event. if the symptoms are getting worse, your infection clearly isn't responding to the treatment anyway, so you need to get checked out again.
my son has had this and my nephew they were ok but my sister has just been to hospital with an elergic reaction to a pain killer do you have a rash as well as feeling sick ;i think you should stop taking this medicine and get some anti histimines till you can get to your doctor ;try to drink water to flush your system hope you feel better soon
