Any chance of getting there?

currently i'm 5''5 and 14 and a half years old..from my dad's side i have tall genes, and my mom's are average..will i reach about 5''7 or a bit more by the time i'm 18?Any chance of getting there?

you sound like you have an average chance because you're only 14... but since you're female, i think the chance slimmed down a little. how tall is your mom?
You have a chance. Girls usually stop growing around 16.
I would say you have a good chance, but what's wrong with being 5'5? I think that's a perfect height. Genes do play a big role in height, but right now, you seem to be at a nice height for your age. There's really only one sure way to tell if you're going to continue to grow taller, and that is to see an orthopedist (spine/bone doctor). He can do some x-rays to see how the growth plates in your legs are doing. They can tell if you're pretty much done growing taller or still have a ways to go.
