Are hot showers bad for you in any way?

I always take hot showers and I keep turning the heat up throughout the shower, but warm showers seem cold to me. Is it bad to take hot showers? Does it make your hair frizzy, or does it make your skin itchy and red??Are hot showers bad for you in any way?
Really hot showers can burn your skin. Even if you don't burn it may cause redness(erythema) of the skin from repeated heat exposure.
a hot shower is okay as long as you don't have high blood pressure
I think it's OK. It might make your hair frizzy, and I'm not sure if it gives you dry skin.
Hot showers can dry out your skin, other than that (and the high blood pressure, previously mentioned) there is no health risk with taking them
I love hot showers too especially when I am stressed out. I heard that it can dry out your skin but I just make sure I use lotion after.
No, on the contrary they are good for you, and opens pores on your skin, and as for your skin, it should be moisturized right after a shower, and if you have, which I'm sure you do, have a good conditioner for your hair, I see no problem. If you have long straight hair, did you know you the size of a dime can be added for extra conditioning? (from hairdresser)
