Anyone taking Chantix to quit smoking? Side Effects?

I was taking Chantix to quit smoking when I had my seizure. I had been smoking 30 cigarettes a day to 2 when my seizure occured. Becuase this drug is so new Just wondering what sort of side effects others have had? Thank you,Anyone taking Chantix to quit smoking? Side Effects?

DID YOU EVER HAVE THEM BEFORE?I AM GOING INTO MY SECOND WEEK OF IT AND LAST NIGHT I GOT THE CHILLS BIG TIME.HOW LONG HAD YOU BEEN TAKING IT BEFORE YOU HAD THE SEIZURE.DID YOU SEE THE DR.WHAT DID HE SAY.I DID NOT KNOW SEIZURES WAS A SIDE AFFECT.
I never had seizures while taking Chantix (I took it for 3 months). I just had weird dreams, upset stomach, and trouble sleeping. The upset stomach went away after week 2 of taking it. The trouble sleeping also went away and actually became a better deep sleep than I normally have.
My Doctor's assistant mentioned to me that something a few people in their office had was a acid reflux so I was given prevacid as a precaution. I only needed it a couple of times so I'm guessing it was something I ate and not the Chantix.
I haven't smoked since October - good luck with quitting!
